Asus ROG Phone 6D specs revealed in leak

If you're not already aware, we're anticipating the arrival of the new ROG Phone 6D Ultimate on September 19. According to all indications, it will be joined by a basic model, which, in typical Asus form, we anticipate to be a mirror image of the Ultimate model but without memory options. This was just reaffirmed by a social media post from a reliable source in the sector.

The ROG Phone 6D in its basic form, or possibly both phones, are being discussed in the post. It confirms that both phones would be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset, which was previously hinted to by Asus. Additionally, the phones will share a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a predicted refresh rate of 165 Hz. A Sony IMX 766 50MP primary camera and a 6,000 mAh battery divided into two cells with 65W charging capabilities are also included in the hardware list.

The new Dimensity ROG Phone 6D models will include a processor switch from Qualcomm to MediaTek as well as what Asus calls the finest cooling system yet for a ROG Phone. That is also mentioned in the leak, which praises the setup regardless of what it turns out to be.

Last but not least, it is also important to note that reports have suggested that the Cortex-X2 core in the Dimensity 9000+ chipset found in the forthcoming ROG Phone 6D phones may receive a significant overclock. Probably because to its sophisticated thermal solution. We anticipate learning more on that front as well.
