The wireless variants of 8BitDo's Xbox-style Ultimate Controller have been revealed

EightBitDo, a well-known manufacturer of peripherals, has unveiled three new iterations of its Ultimate Controller, including two wireless models. Pre-orders for the Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, and wired models are all open right now. On October 28th, the controllers will be delivered.

Both the Bluetooth and 2.4GHz variants use lithium-ion batteries that are rechargeable and come with a station for charging. Each of the three has a switch that lets you quickly move between the three profiles. On Windows, Android, and iOS, you can remap the controller and change other settings by utilising 8BitDo's Ultimate Software (but only on PC for the wired controller). Two back paddle buttons are present on the Xbox-style controller.

The Bluetooth version is compatible with Windows and Nintendo Switch, although you might need to connect your PC to the 2.4GHz adaptor that is supplied and hidden inside the charging station. It comes in black and white and costs $70. According to 8BitDo, the 2.4GHz model is compatible with Windows, Android, and Raspberry Pi. This one is available in white, black, and soft pink. You can have it all for $50.

Switch, Windows, Android, and Raspberry Pi are all compatible with the wired USB version. Vibration of the trigger and an improved grip are other features. For $35, you can purchase the wired version in either black or white hues.
